Honestly for most folks this brand wouldn't be worth it. I'm sure a lot of people are going to comment on here how Arc'teryx isn't worth it like Patagonia but if you want quality made products that are built to last and are backed by a great warranty
then it is worth it.
Arc'teryx puts a lot of design and attention to detail in making their clothes. Their clothes are meant to be worn while being active like rock climbing because more than likely if you happen to scrape against a mountain, their clothes will be ok. It
was the first company to really put gore-Tex in clothing.
They're clothes are so good that Navy Seals swear by them. Yes they get a good discount on them but they were buying Arc'teryx at retail way before they started getting the discount. I know this because I live in a Navy town and have known many Seals and each one have owned Arc'teryx items that they not only used in everyday life but on their "trips" abroad.
So all that to say, if you can it afford then buy it. It's a good product that does what it's designed to do and a Hell of a lot more. If it doesn't work, Arc'teryx has a free replacement or cheap repair policy.

In short, these jackets basically combine a puffy, insulated jacket with something like a track jacket. It'll keep you warm, but it's also designed to let heat and sweat vent out to keep you comfortable when exercising in the cold. They're also lightweight at 13 oz so you can bring it around everywhere without added bulk. The only downside is that they sacrifice windproofing for breathability so in really cold, windy areas it won't be as effective as a proper down jacket/parka.
And after they get sweaty and icky, you can buff your Teslas with them before donating them
In for 1 myself.
