I've had to return a couple of these due to clicking noises from the fan.
Does anyone know the difference between:

Costco's C535 ($130) vs C555 ($230) models?
Amazon's 5300-2 ($130) vs 5500-2 ($160) models?

Just by looking at the pricing strategy the C535 and 5300-2 are the same, just like the C555 and 5500-2 (with the C being the Costco model).

That being said, if they are the same, is the C555/5500-2 worth the extra $60 via Amazon?

About 1 year on the hepa but it will vary if you have more dust or lots of pets. The charcoal is about 3 months but you can vacuum that to last longer. Also, Charcoal is cheap and you can buy large sheets and cut them to fit any air filter. The OEM heppa filter is about $30-35 on sale. you can get decent knock offs (from what I read in previous posts) around $20-$25 on Amazon, ebay, etc...

For anyone wondering, it comes out to about $115 without a membership, including Texas sales tax.

Also, can anyone confirm if this shoots air out the back, or does it go out the top?

The top. If you are face the unit the air is directed towards the right

Thanks everyone! I bought the eureka one when it was on sale for $55, been pretty happy with it, but probably going to replace it with this one because:

1) Filter cost is high on eureka
2) Air comes out the back of the eureka, which is annoying and doesn't circulate well
3) The winix comes with tons of filters and way better warranty

One last question - is there a way to use Google express without a costco account? I want that extra 20% off!
