My first deal here so giving this a try! Has not been posted anywhere on this site or any others. Save 40% monthly for the life of your account as long as it's active. Originally $4.99, but with the saving it's down to $2.99 with code SUMMERSAVE40.

If that doesn't work SUMMERSAVE30 works for 30% and SUMMERSAVE20 works for 20%. My first deal post. be gentle!

I'm not a fan of CurosityStream and find that Smithsonian channel is by far the better choice.

Thanks OP. Worth a shot with a free trial and a subscription price of $2.99 with the promo code.

I had to "start a free trial" and create a login to get to the page where you can put in the discount code. Thanks, OP!

Can you be specific why you think Curiosity is not good?
I am trying to decide between those 2. Thank you.

Thanks OP, I had just signed up with a 20% coupon code they'd emailed. And for no apparent reason, I searched for Smithsonian here on SD and came across your post with the 40% code. cancelled my other sub and signed up a new one

I find the Curiosity stream contains more conspiracy documentaries that I'm not really into. I like a lot of nature, human, and worldly documentaries. I think the best thing to do each try each with their free trial and see which one is better.

Yes, much more than CR. Taken from their website.

How much 4K UHD content is available?
Over 300 hours of 4K UHD programs are available to stream with a Smithsonian Channel Plus subscription, and we are continuing to add more. In order to view these programs in 4K UHD resolution, you must have a 4K UHD-supported streaming device, 4K UHD television, and a high-speed internet connection.

Just a heads up, I heard this deal will end this week. Gain some knowledge and get Smithsonian! Plus, their 4k content is great!

Curiosity Stream is great. Smithsonian is a reprise of the Smithsonian Channel which I get through my cable provider. CS is also less expensive, give it a one month try.
