I saw these in the store and read the material that comes with them. Home Depot calls them surge protectors, but the inside documentation (and Wal-Mart) refers to them as extension cords. There are no claims or specs for surge protection, if that matters to anyone.
Home Depot has the most relaxed return policy on the planet.

Vary by location I guess. The local HD ~2miles from me is showing $5.88 yet the one 7 miles away is $16.

Description says 3 outlet; however the picture is showing 2?

Tried to add to cart for pickup... stores show many available, but it won't work. I'm guessing they are phantoms.

It was showing as $14.99 for me, but when I added and went to first step in checkout it changed to $5.88.

You have to select in store pickup at a location that still has it. I saw several stores in the Orange County area with these in stock at the $5.88 price. Bought and repped!

I too only see two outlets? If it really three I would buy it, but I don't want to take a chance and actually get what's in the picture.

I just read someone else's post that the other plug was on the other side. So I went ahead and ordered it. Micro center, a computer electronic store in Santa Ana California has this very outlet for $17.99... they are not really known for being an expensive store so that makes this a pretty good deal.
