Stay away from these things . . The sockets wear out and plugs will eventually just droop and not connect.

If you're plugging things in and out of it regularly you may be correct, however I'm using this in my garage on 2 different outlets because I needed to plug in a 6-battery charger for my power tools, and a bunch of other random chargers for my cordless soldering irons, lights, heat gun, etc and all those things never get unplugged or moved so these 2 splitters still work fine for me after a year since I'm not constantly plugging/unplugging things to it. I even used my 120V 15A MIG welder on the center plug for about an hour and it didn't melt this splitter which kind of surprised me lol.

Did not think of it like that, as I just assumed people used these in high (plug/unplug) areas to use for computer and phone chargers etc.

I got kids and it is constant plug / unplug . . .regardless i think 2 of the side outlets were loose after a year of use, which is still pretty bad.
