First of all, you will need a CVS ExtraCare card. This is obtained easily at any store at the register. Some will ask you to fill out the form then and there, others will just give you the card and ask you to return the form later.
Once you have the card, you can now start CVSing
The biggest thing to understand is that CVS uses a promotional program called "ExtraCare Bucks" (commonly abbreviated as ECBs.) These print out on your receipt immediately once you purchase an item offering them; almost like an instant-rebate you get at the register. You can turn around and use them anytime on almost anything in the store, except for alcohol, cigarettes, and gift cards.
Often, CVS advertises items as "Free after ECB" – For example, throughout the month of November, CVS has Crest Pro Health Whitening Toothpaste in 4.2 oz size, for free after ECB. The cost is $3.49, but you get $3.49 back instantly on your receipt. The best part is that there are often coupons available that can actually help you earn money… like for the above toothpaste, there are $1 off coupons available, meaning the item would be $2.49, but you get $3.49 in ECBs back. The limit on this toothpaste for this month is 2. So if you wanted to start off small to get into CVSing, the thing to do would be to buy one toothpaste in the first transaction (and use a coupon if you have one, so that you either pay $3.49 or $2.49 in cash), then use the $3.49 ECBs you get back from that first transaction to pay for the second tube of toothpaste, and again, receive $3.49 more in ECBs.
The trick now is to roll your ECBs so that you rarely pay more than maybe a dollar or two in tax on transactions, instead using your ECBs from previous transactions… then earning more to keep doing the same. It's a cycle (and a game/addiction to some, lol.)

i figure if you're using the turkey dogs you save 20 grams of fat per dog. that makes up the avocado (which at least is a good fat). fully loaded up you don't really miss it.

I don't know if we've got those sandwiches in our store, that brand I mean. I'll have to look. You know what else is good? The Weight Watchers Quesidellas (sp). So good that even if I wasn't trying to eat healthy I'd eat them.
How much was it for? (If you don't mind my asking). I just got mine the other day and it was $697 for a few freaking blood tests and urine sample.
I get to pay it all b/c of our deductible. I'm calling the hospital tomorrow to work out a payment plan. Farkers.

I've never tried turkey dogs. Are they pretty good? I've had the no fat hot dogs and didn't like those but I don't think they were turkey.
