CVS Info:

First of all, you will need a CVS ExtraCare card. This is obtained easily at any store at the register. Some will ask you to fill out the form then and there, others will just give you the card and ask you to return the form later.

Once you have the card, you can now start CVSing

The biggest thing to understand is that CVS uses a promotional program called "ExtraCare Bucks" (commonly abbreviated as ECBs.) These print out on your receipt immediately once you purchase an item offering them; almost like an instant-rebate you get at the register. You can turn around and use them anytime on almost anything in the store, except for alcohol, cigarettes, and gift cards.

Often, CVS advertises items as "Free after ECB" – For example, throughout the month of November, CVS has Crest Pro Health Whitening Toothpaste in 4.2 oz size, for free after ECB. The cost is $3.49, but you get $3.49 back instantly on your receipt. The best part is that there are often coupons available that can actually help you earn money… like for the above toothpaste, there are $1 off coupons available, meaning the item would be $2.49, but you get $3.49 in ECBs back. The limit on this toothpaste for this month is 2. So if you wanted to start off small to get into CVSing, the thing to do would be to buy one toothpaste in the first transaction (and use a coupon if you have one, so that you either pay $3.49 or $2.49 in cash), then use the $3.49 ECBs you get back from that first transaction to pay for the second tube of toothpaste, and again, receive $3.49 more in ECBs.

The trick now is to roll your ECBs so that you rarely pay more than maybe a dollar or two in tax on transactions, instead using your ECBs from previous transactions… then earning more to keep doing the same. It's a cycle (and a game/addiction to some, lol.)

I'm so freakin proud of Mc. Her dad and paternal grandma tried to bully me into putting her in pre-k instead of kindergarten. I wanted to give her a chance. Hahahaha My baby girl showed them!

I can relate. My 5 year old can be a little piss ant a lot of the time. She's a diva all the way and knows it.

When is Chloe's birthday? (Just wondering how close in age her and Mc are.)

Sorry but we survived this long living the way we have, wtf does it matter to change?

I think it's all a crock of shit : nod:
Nono

The world population continues to grow. That = more consumption of our planet's resources.

It's not a crock of shit. It's about our depletion and waste of our resources. Aaaack, thinking about how much and what goes into our landfills drives me crazy If we all make an effort to do our part it will make a difference. the following is a sad statement about how the US treats mother earth in regards to waste.

Quote :
Residents of affluent nations typically produce more waste than inhabitants of developing nations. For example the citizens of Washington, D.C., generate approximately four times as much municipal waste per person as their peers in the large cities of S Paulo, Brazil, or Bangkok, Thailand.
My husband's ultimate goal is to get off the grid. He has plans of solar and wind energy not to mention geothermal heating/cooling.

These are just 2 of the many things we are doing to kill our planet. Weeping

I'm glad they finally started making the 10 calorie ones. I would rarely if ever drink them before. If I had a coupon that made them free I got them for DD who is 14 yo 5'5" and a rail.

I thought they tasted awful. I'd drink it if it's was free though.

I started school when i was 4 and did well academically. College at 17 was tough not academically but emotionally. Way overwhelmed with freedom and I abused the hell out of it.

This baby is due in August. Cut off date for K is Sept 1. I am definitely waiting until they are 5 turning 6 for K.

BT's a late November baby. I'm so glad we waited for kindergarten for him - he would have been overwhelmed emotionally if he'd gone this year. I think the preschool program he's in did a great job getting him ready for school next year.

Wow what is your state's cutoff date? I'm Sept 28th and by the time my baby bro was born my mom knew she would hold him. He's October 11.
