Listed at 300.00 off 1999.99 and you can get an additional 100.00 off until sept 2 bringing this down to 1599. Pretty solid price for a 2060 with 32gb ram 512gb 240hz and the i7 9750.
You can compare this with a blade 15 2060 base configuration at 1999.00 but with 16gb ram and a 144hz screen.
The extra 100.00 off is for a student discount running this time of year. Once you are logged in, it will show under your offers on the same page as the laptop. I am not a student (in my 40s) and it still worked for me with no hassle. I went and picked up the laptop and have it hand out the door for 1599 + tax - 15.00. I don't know why but when I did in store pickup, they gave me a 15.00 refund and said they didn't know why either.

The CPU throttles unless you change some bios settings and even when you do it's still loud and hot. I'm currently being a bum and playing WoW and it struggles to do that without heating to above 90c. Albion Online (a game that runs on mobile) is stressful enough to throttle this ones CPU somehow. As with (I've learned) most gaming laptops, you won't be playing them on your lap and this is no different— have to sit it on a table/desk/mat so that it doesn't burn your legs. Anyway, I'm disappointed in the ones I've tried with this i7, maybe that's the issue, but I can't justify having a slightly portable desktop in these machines vs them working as an actual laptop

I mainly use for photo & video editing + running VMs and Dockers. Should serve my purpose.
