Your description makes it seem to be 40 for 2 barstools when in fact it's 40 each or 80 for set.

I thought the same thing...damn....but not 100% OPs fault. The Ashley Furniture site says set of 2 which makes it confusing.

We had nothing but problems with Ashley in the past. Ordered spare bedroom furniture and it took forever to arrive, that is what parts did. They cancelled another part of the order a month later that they said was coming now claiming it was no longer made.. We went on Amazon and were able to buy the same nightstands from Ashley through Amazon they claimed were no longer made and told us good luck finding them! Never will go through them again as it was a 3 month process for a spare room set...

These "sales" are just ploys to drive up foot traffic. You can negotiate down to these prices (or lower) pretty much anytime.

Have several pieces of Ashley furniture that have held up well over the years including a kitchen table and chairs, and cocktail and side tables.

58% for me on my bedroom set. That's all the furniture is worth. Negotiating isn't hard. Just have to be upfront, honest and realize you hold the cards. I walked in at the end of the weekend, told my local location's head manager I basically knew wholesale cost and wanted a very deep deal. That is where we settled.

Well I've had various Ashley pieces for 9+years. Survived 2 kids and pets and a sofa sleeper. If you treat things badly or let your spawn destroy stuff, or buy compressed wood set the right expectations. Prices are good from what I see. Go to a mall furniture store and see the price difference.

Not that great of a sale. They have Leahlyn dining room chairs at $60/ea. I got 4 of them on Prime Day at 2/$88.

And the quality seems really fine. They're solid, well made chairs.
