Hot off the presses. EDIT: Looks like this is a 'Deal of the Day'
Lavazza 910 espresso pod machine for $49.99 before tax and shipping using code 910.
Edit: FREE shipping once you hit $50, so find something inexpensive as a filler.

I've been buying pods for $0.30 /each delivered (by the 100) via Ebay sellers. Delicious! I've gone through 250 pods since May.
Much cheaper than Nespresso and a stronger shot as there's more coffee in the pods.
In for another for a spare.

The only potential hangs up is every 7 pods the bucket must be emptied. If you don't replace the bucket all the way back in, the unit will not function.
Also, if you hold the power button on the side while pressing one of the front buttons, it goes into descaling mode. From my experience, there is no exiting descaling mode until its entirely completed the cycle. You must put 2 full buckets of water through it until it will again return to normal operation. Going into descaling mode isn't something that would happen during normal operation. It would only happen if you were fooling around with it or you wanted to descale and then after like one bucket thought "good enough" and didn't realize that you just have to keep adding water until done. If I recall correctly the instructions for descaling called for 2 full buckets but it took like 2.5 buckets to kick out of descale mode.
If you do buy an LB 910 make sure to download the maintenance manual. Detailed instructions about descaling, setting the temperature, resetting to the factory defaults, and much more is in the maintenance manual. Strangely, this information is "not" in the provided owner's manual that comes with the machine. You can find it here https://lavazzablue.fil

When it is working, it's quick and the pods are cheaper than Nespresso!

I picked one of these up shortly after coming back from a 2 week trip to Italy and really missing the coffee. I don't see how Keurig is even popular (my wife's machine).
- pour milk into a cup filling is 1/3-1/2 way.
- microwave for 35 seconds
- use foam whipping wand to froth
- put cup under the Lavazza Blue 910
- pop in an Intenso pod
- press the lower button to dispense
- sometimes add 1/4 teaspoon sugar, still and enjoy!
