Pelican Coolers is having a store-wide 30% off for Labor Day. This includes their hard-side wheeled Elite coolers for what I believe to be historic lows (outside of some YMMV B&M Home Depot deals)
https://www.pelicancoolers.com/

Items like the Pelican 45QT Wheeled Elite Cooler are down to $265.97
https://www.pelicancoolers.com/co...ite-cooler

Coupon Code: LABORDAY (QA Edit: code may automatically apply in cart)

The 30% applies everywhere which also includes accessories and other items, definitely think it's worth checking out if you're in the market for this.

Many of these are very heavy. They are well worth the cost if you have need for them. I have two pelican hard sided that compare favorably with my yeti but are far less expensive. Even less expensive are the monoprice hard sided coolers that are also built quite well. I keep two of those at both business locations for incoming birthday parties that bring their own drinks.

The wheeled coolers are heavier than the non-wheeled versions. I believe the wheeled pelicans are roto-molded, and the non-wheeled are injection molded, which makes them lighter. I have a 50 and a 70, both are incredibly light for their size.

This is crazy slick. Thanks for posting. Rep'd.

I probably just need to work out more. the two 20 qts i have are very tall (feels even more so when the handle is up and being carried). The other sizes are much more 'normal' in terms of aspect, wide and height are the same. They also feel moderately heavy compared to the 20 qt cheap brands. I stick with the RTIC softpack now as I don't need 3 days of cooling but merely same day. these new hard sided coolers have an uncanny ability to keep things cool for a very long time (compared to cheapies).

Wow this is the lowest I have seen these coolers. I have the 45 wheeled version and it is a heavy beast but the wheels are quality so I only realize how heavy it is when lifting it in and out of a vehicle

I assume at this price it is electrically cooled and has its own power source.
Lol. There's always one of these.

If you're looking for the 250 QT, you'll get a better deal at Pelicancasesforless.com

$764 (pelicancasesforless.com) vs. 837 direct.

Otherwise, direct from Pelican is better.

Those wheeled 45qts look diesel. Wonder how it will perform compared to my Coleman xtreme 60qt. 45qt seems a little small. But I don't need the 70/80.

LOL no comparison. We own the otterbox 45 and a coleman extreme 5 60 or whatever it is. In one week of camping with temps in the 70s mostly, the coleman goes through three cubes entirely and the otterbox leaves 60-65% of two cubes for use next time.

EDIT: Cube = 20 lb block

Very similar to my thoughts. I think at times we go a little over the top. If I'll be stranded on an island for four days with no access to anything anywhere. This is probably the way to go. If this is hanging in my boat and ice is melting, I'll stop and pay $3 for another bag of ice and throw it in. Applause

Well yes, these are coolers for a very specific customer, not everyone. But at a time when a lot of these expensive coolers have become status symbols they have become more mainstream.

Sure wish they'd restock the 80QT wheeled model.

Looks like they're backordered but orderable.
