The open-box deal on eBay for $88 was great. Phone is nice and updated to Pie. Downside is the glass back is the most slippery phone I have ever held. I would definitely look into a hybrid phone case (TPU inner cover with a hard plastic outer cover) as well as the usual tempered glass screen protector.
Also, this phone is locked down to TracFone for a year. You can only unlock it after one year of service. Complicating matters is that TracFone considers this bundled-year not a purchased year so some customers have been told two years to unlock. Either way, you should really only be a TracFone customer if you buy these phones.

Not sure about the 2 years, I got a TF unlocked last month after the first year - only difference was that I had added an additional 30 day card from one of the Target deals.

I think it depends on whatever rep you happen to be talking with. Which is always the case with TracFone. I remember adding cards online and "bonus" months and minutes accidentally popping up.
Bought one to replace my older LG306g, which is 3G only. Hopefully I can also get Tracfone to transfer any remaining minutes and service days from the old phone to the new phone.
That can either go fine the first time, or turn very, very bad if it doesn't work right away the first time.

Didn't use a rep, did it all online just by entering IMEI, took less than 10 min.

Bought my TF Moto G6 from Amazon deal, 2 years of service & several thousand min transferred with no problem. Phone updated to Android 9 (first TF to do so) about 2 weeks ago & it works on any TF network (it comes with sim for Verizon service but can easily be swapped to AT&T or T-Mo through TF, just need correct sim).
