Verified that there are two DIMM slots (1 populated). Great little new ESXi machine (with sideloaded Realtek 8111 drivers)!

Did you open the laptop and see the two slots?

This is the HP response on the Bestbuy site for questions about this laptop -

"This laptop only has 1 RAM (memory) slot. It can be upgraded to 8 gigabytes of RAM. This is what is currently on the laptop. 4 GB DDR4-2400 SDRAM."

Anyone good with computers willing to help?

Currently have a 5yr old computer with an i5 processor (i5-4200U) and 6GB of RAM (running on Windows 8).

Basically i want this computer to run with same speed. Given it's a 5yr old i5, should they be comparable? I did a Passmark test and they look almost even...https://www.cpubenchmark.net/compare/Intel-i5-4200U-vs-Intel-Pentium-4417U/1947vs3417

Realize that this has 2GB less RAM however.

I was about ready to pull trigger on old used macbook and saw this deal. During student time it showed almost similar machine but with i3 processor month ago at bestbuy $199

Would love to pick this up for my kid. SSD looks good. Enough space for him. From what I've read it's an M.2. RAM sucks but I'll throw in an 8GB stick. Looks like it supports DDR4 @ 2400. From my research the processor seems to be comparable to an i3. My concern is will this be able to run Fortnite and Roblox? That's a deal breaker for me and I can't seem to find a clear answer if it would. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
