Yeah, these cheap lifetime licenses are not a viable way to run a business long-term. Either they are collecting data about you to sell, or they are getting as much money as they can and disappearing overnight.
Ivacy is fine. What I don't like about Keepsolid is once you connect a device it's locked to your account as one of your 5 devices. You're allowed to remove one device per week, and usually you forget about it until you have no more slots left. Don't know why they have to make it so difficult. Otherwise it's perfectly fine, and 15 bucks is a very good price.
I have had VPN Unlimited for a few years. I am by no means an expert on VPNs and could not compare it to others - but I have been pretty happy.

Speeds are decent enough and they continually update their app and plug-ins - so nice to know they are not just selling it and not continuing to develop.

One thing I really like is the plugins. There is one for Firefox and one for Chrome (not sure of other browsers). With the plugin, I can have that browser run through the VPN and open another browser and not have it run through the VPN. So I have the option of having the whole computer running through the VPN, or just the content of one browser. Not sure if any of the others have that - but I like that quite a bit.

I should note that for a lifetime subscription you get 5 slots. Using a Windows 10 PC, the App is 1 slot, the Chrome plugin is 1 slot and the Firefox plugin is 1 slot. So doing this will use 3 of your 5 slots. And as one person said previously, to remove a device from your allotted slots you need to log in to their website and manually delete it - and you can only delete 1 slot per week. Still really good for me, but just worth mentioning.

At $15 for a lifetime subscription, it is a deal.

I've been using ivacy 22$ a year deal I got several years ago. Does this also let you bypass Netflix, or are their servers blacklisted?

I've had no big issues with ivacy, but some people here badmouth ivacy for some reason.

I've been really happy with SurfShark and felt like I got a good deal, but this is a far better price than I paid. Can anyone speak to the differences in quality between VPNs? Could one expect less features, slower speeds, less compatibility for services like Netflix, etc. on a far cheaper VPN like this?

2.5 to 3.0 stars on 5 star rating scale.... I'm seeing this in a lot if places. When they are that low, I don't even need to read the reason why they are so low. I'll pass.

I've had VPN Unlimited for 5ish years on a lifetime subscription, so yeah, not gone overnight. Gone eventually yes, but not today 😊

Same here. I have been using VPN Unlimited lifetime for years. I think the main thing with these is to realize that lifetime means use it as long as you can. For $15 even if you only get a couple of years still not a bad deal.

Can we setup this on the Router and enable it on our home network? avoiding installing it individually on each device?

Can we use this on a smart TV?
