Editor's Notes & Price Research

Compact and portable, the Roller Stand folds to a compact size for easy storage and transportation. Weighing in at only 10 pounds this stand can go anywhere with you! But don't let its size and weight fool you, it's still tough enough to support up to 130 pounds.

Helps catch/ hold wood for you like table saw, wood planer or even if you didnt have a big area for a chop saw it helps hold it there with no drag as you need more wood probably more uses but thats all i can think of for now
usually an extension of a chop or table saw to support a long workpiece - roller is if you need to move it perpendicularly (e.g. positioning or multiple cuts). I have an HF version that I admittedly never use, which is $12 AC every day BTW.

What's the point of this thing?

I was initially thinking it was to hold a paint roller, but that's what the top part of a paint tray is for. So, is it a stand that rolls? I'm so confused (seriously)

I was going to say try not to think. Just read the description. But, there are many questions asked, about various products on SDs, that could be answered by reading the description.
After reading the 1 star reviews, I think I'll pass.

These have historically been known as an "outfeed roller". I don't know who wrote that awful description or decided to call it a roller stand, creating unnecessary confusion.

I bought this a few days ago and am waiting for email saying it's ready for pickup. Someone in the other thread mentioned the high low locking mechanism on this is decent and the HF ones are trash

I have the HF one and it looks exactly the same as the Sears version. I use it as an outfeed roller for my table and miter saws. No complaints and I haven't had the locking screw come loose.

I've had this exact roller stand for years to compliment my chop saw & table saw. Although I've only used it a half dozen times or so it's always worked great, even with a lot of weight on it. Definitely recommend if you're in the market for one, especially at this price
