Replacement for Dorco USA

Since Dorco no longer sells direct, the prices of their stuff on Amazon went way up.

I'm not comfortable using a double edged razor, and I just want a standard handle and refills of 3 or 4 blade men's razors.

Has anyone found a good replacement for razors?

As a long time Fusion user I've tried branching out to save some money and tried at least half a dozen razors including the Dorco, Hydro 5, Quattro, Mach 3, and some indy brandsbut eventually settled on the "Bull Dog" brand. I think it's the closest thing to the Fusion of the bunch and it's often on sale at Walgreen's. In case you're randomly browsing the indy brands, the Defender razor was the worst thing I've ever pressed to my skin, causing me to bleed more than I ever have since I started shaving as a kid.

I tried so many other razors and I just go back to Gillette. I don't care that it costs a bit extra. I'm willing to pay that for my face not to be shredded because folks can't figure out how to make a nice blade. Gillette is worth the money, IMO. I haven't found another brand that comes close to comfort for me.

The only blade that 'shredded' my face was that Defender one. The Bull Dog blades have given me a comparable shave without a single nick or burn yet.

Isn't there an AmazonBasics version out now? It's right around $1 a razor or less, they have great reviews. I havent tried them but they look nice.
