Got one of these last time it went on sale to replace a generic $75 Amazon purifier. This one is noticeably better, and comes with way more extra filters than the other. Very good deal, highly recommended!

A lot of reviews are mentioning problems with the wifi on this model. Anyone know if there are real issues with this?

This model does not come with an extra year's set of filters like the C535 did, right?

I almost got excited on the Costco $100 winix... then I see its some new model with wifi... really wifi on the air filter?? then the not so great reviews.. then the lack of extra filters.. and not compatible with my older winix filters..
But since I was looking for a 2nd unit I see Winix has a referb c535 with 1 year filters for 69 and free ship... pulled the trigger on that one...

I saw this in warehouse last week. Indicates that it comes with a year supply of filters.

Costco's C535 used to come with 2 years of filters. So you get wifi, but 1 less year of filters for the same price now. Great.

I couldn't find Costco c535. too late in the game. Placed an order on winix website for the refurb one. It looks like new. One set of hepa filter. So far so good.

Why not WiFi on the purifier? Everything has WiFi nowadays. I actually like the feature on my Coway with the WiFi, although it can be little wonky sometimes.

Really. Your air filter needs access to YouTube cat videos just as much as your dishwasher, hair dryer, and toaster does. Just be sure you enable Incognito Mode for all these things, since you don't need to know about your carpet's addiction to "shag" videos.

How's the warranty on the refurb? It's it easy to do exchange? I'm looking for one for a long time and it would be my first one. I don't know anything about air purifiers.
