The best everyday price on standard weight plates is $1/1lbs. This is a steal at $0.80 a pound and they toss in a 7ft bar too! Great find.

People always say that, but I guess they get lucky. All I ever see is ads for new stuff, or 30-year-old Airdyne bikes from grandma's attic. Good stuff like bumper plates probably gets snatched up (no pun) really fast.

The cheap cast iron plates have such large openings, the weights lean and move all over and there is so much play in the bar. And they have bad weight tolerances so you might be 5 pounds lighter or heavier than the stated weight.

30-40 cents a pound is worth it for the extra weight, but getting closer to a dollar a pound - I'd wait for a quality set of bumpers.

Create an account with email, then search and save that search... you will get notification for any new stuff coming with your search keyword. You may have to wait a Little...I recently bought all the weight and bar listed in this deal plus rack and bench for $260. Generally on craigslist these weights go for $0.50 per lb. someone said in this thread $0.80 is a steal..ApplauseApplauseApplause
