I have one of the 9 ft 8 wt. that I use for striper. It's a real nice rod.

WCF763-4 is the model number. Search for that and you should find the 7'6" 3wt shown elsewhere. Fenwick will take discontinued models off of its site sometimes. I've seen that when looking for other of their rods in the past.

I was hoping to get a smaller weight for small streams but it cost more. Just gotta find a balanced reel now. The only problem when I don't buy combos.

It's more preference and budget than anything. Hard to say what pairs best. It's more subjective about what feels best in your hands.
