Pretty huge sign that a new model is imminent when this one (almost exactly two years old) goes on heavy discount.

Have this, like it a lot, particularly with Infuse to read media off my NAS.

Pretty good deal. You're basically saving $60 over Amazon's price. I do think that they will be releasing a new version of this sooner rather than later, though.

So I have Apple TV+ as of today and this is a NO BRAINER!!!

A year of TV+ would be $60 ... so your telling me for $30 more I can get a Apple TV 4K??? (cause buying this gives a year free!!!)

Well, the main benefit is probably having access to iTunes purchased media, although it can also play games and things (not really something many people do, although with Apple Arcade that might change).
