Pretty huge sign that a new model is imminent when this one (almost exactly two years old) goes on heavy discount.

Have this, like it a lot, particularly with Infuse to read media off my NAS.

Nvm, figured it out. So it appears that for ALL Apple product purchases, you'll get a year of Apple TV+ subscription (I assume they send out the email after you register/log into the device).

You do not receive 1yr of Apple TV+ for ALL products.

From Apple's website: "Get Apple TV+ for a year when you purchase a new iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, Mac, or Apple TV."

Essentially, any Apple product with a screen that can be used for watching video. For example, Apple Watch is not included in the offer.

Pretty sure this is still the only way to get Dolby atmos from Apple streaming 4K. So tempted but the firetv 4K app works pretty decently
