Good morning! Wish this was the $750 from last year, but beggars can't be choosers.

At the end of August I took advantage of the Add a line, get a free line. If I take advantage of this deal, and then subsequently cancel the new line that you need to add to get it, will that have any impact on the add-a-line from August?

I have heard in the past that within a certain window of time any lines you cancel are your free ones first, so that's the point of my question.
I also took advantage of that (or a similar) promotion. The terms stated that I would lose the promo if I cancel any voice line within a year. Confirm with T-force to get it in writing from an official source.

Can somebody decipher this for me because I'm not smart....

So is this a partial bill credit or do you get a $580 Mastercard contingent on having a trade in? The "trade-in credit" is throwing me here.
i am too interested in this.but since its menationed one time credit...it might mean you will get 30$ as bill credit and 550$ in mastercard.just an example.
i am not sure to what extent these above figures will change.

Either I'm still misunderstanding or this doesn't make any sense because this sounds to me like the 6s nets a higher return on the card than an iPhone 8? There is also nothing stated in the promo that there are different values attributed to different models. It reads like any of those models nets you $580 through some combo of credit and card.
yes, any of those models will give you $580.
Best deal is for a cheap iPhone 6s, and if you have an iPhone 8, selling that separately.
I'm sure you can easily get at least $200 for an 8 if you sell it yourself.

yes, they will tell you how much the trade in value for your device is. Say you have an iPhone 7 and they give you $80 for it. You will get $80 Tmobile bill credit and $500 prepaid card (virtual I think)
ok great...thanks a lot Sir.I wont mind if i get 120$ trade in bill credit...as i am xpecting to pay that much for 1 line for 2 months.
above 120$..it will hit me bad.

Am I missing something? Im currently a Verizon prepaid ($35/month) customer with an iPhone 6s that I currently own. I want the iPhone 11 128gb that costs $700. With $580 off, that leaves it at a net cost of $120.

Even taking into account that I'd have to switch to T-Mobile for two months and pay $60/month, that's only an extra $50 in total compared to what I'd be paying anyways for service. Leaving me with the cost of $170 total for a brand new iPhone 11.

What am I missing? This seems to be too good to be true for my 6s!
yes, it's a great deal!
I'd do it if I were you since you pay a similar price with xfinity!
I did a similar XR deal 5 times several months back when Costco was running this deal. I traded in 6s's and at one point they accepted the iPhone 6.

correct, the $100 would be as a bill credit, $480 on a prepaid card (It might be a virtual card)

My suggestion, buy a cheap 6s/7 to trade in. Sell the 8 on your own to get more money back
So using this logic, a higher value phone would require you to stay on a Tmobile plan longer to take advantage of the bill credits, no? Assuming the bill credits are spread out monthly?

no, this is why this is a great deal!
it's a one time bill credit.
So say you buy it today, you get the $100 bill credit around December. And in 6-8 weeks the prepaid card (virtual I think) for $480

Be sure that the phone you buy is in stock at Costco.

some reps require the phone be present at the time of purchase because they have to answer some questions (iCloud off, no cracks etc)
Some are fine with just the imei.

Once they enter that info, they print out a sheet with a label on it. You mail it out on your own

Does anyone know yet the splitout between bill credit vs prepaid card for the 6s?
