2. How to Redeem Your Offer

2. Trade-in an eligible device.
3. Go to http://www.T-Mobile.com/Promotions within 30 days from date of device purchase.

The document tells you which items will be accepted for trade. You can NOT do a IP6, or SE, or Samsung, etc.
It really does not matter how much they give you for the trade. The total rebate you will get will total $580.
Yes, this promotion is for people adding T-Mobile new lines. Duh! Think!
Simple math tells you that trading in an XS or XR is probably not going to make sense in most cases. So, if then don't. Duh!
Nobody has asked yet, but yes the phone must be paid for. And yes it must work. And yes it must not be broken. Duh!
And yes, you must have a Costco card to pay for the phone.

Heard of others using Venmo to themselves (two accounts I think, don't know for sure).
*shrug* As a homeowner it's pretty easy to zero-out a $580 card just paying utility & service bills for a month or two.
WIth Costco, you get a ONE time bill credit, the rest in a big rebate card. You can cancel once you get the card...which means you avoid paying the extra monthly service fee.
