2. How to Redeem Your Offer

2. Trade-in an eligible device.

The document tells you which items will be accepted for trade. You can NOT do a IP6, or SE, or Samsung, etc.
It really does not matter how much they give you for the trade. The total rebate you will get will total $580.
Yes, this promotion is for people adding T-Mobile new lines. Duh! Think!
Simple math tells you that trading in an XS or XR is probably not going to make sense in most cases. So, if then don't. Duh!
Nobody has asked yet, but yes the phone must be paid for. And yes it must work. And yes it must not be broken. Duh!
And yes, you must have a Costco card to pay for the phone.

The cheapest one I checked was Essential which is $60 + taxes = $64.80 so still expensive !

getting 20 credit every month and the phone is locked to Tmobile so I suppose there is no way to trade on that phone.
if someone found a way to trade the device on last year's t-mobile promotion please let me know.
I'm going to hold my trade in for a couple of weeks and see the black friday deals. Return period at costco is 90 days.
I'm pretty happy with this deal though. Traded a 7 and we're on a multiline (2) 55+ plan.
