Most of the questions asked here are either in the promotion posting, or are just stupid. Read before posting.
The document tells you which items will be accepted for trade. You can NOT do a IP6, or SE, or Samsung, etc.
It really does not matter how much they give you for the trade. The total rebate you will get will total $580.
Yes, this promotion is for people adding T-Mobile new lines. Duh! Think!
Simple math tells you that trading in an XS or XR is probably not going to make sense in most cases. So, if then don't. Duh!
Nobody has asked yet, but yes the phone must be paid for. And yes it must work. And yes it must not be broken. Duh!
And yes, you must have a Costco card to pay for the phone.

There is no provision to returning a digital Visa card.
Unless he tells you to print a copy and give it to him personally
I am a new user but I swear this question was never discussed -- not in last 2 year's promotion either. If the TMobile plan is under my wife's name, but the Costco membership is under my name, can I buy the phone in store, add the line to the plan, and still get the rebate?
I know it's easiest for her to open a Costco member, but she's out of country and won't be back for a while ...
thanks,
I have jumped on this deal last year, I ported out my number exactly on 91st day. No one ever contacted me to return any rebate.
So, if I open a new line (~120 for 2 months service), buy a used 6s (~100 -120). I can get 580-240 = 340 off a new iPhone.
Is my math roughly correct?
Also, does it make sense to open a new line to get this deal? Does TMobile do a hard credit pull?
So, that being said, is he right, or when do you get the official terms and conditions of the offer?
If I order my phone now, but have to come back to activate, do I make sure I have to do so by 11/7? Would it actually come in before then?

They (Cust Care) are saying they can't enable since T-Mo One is now considered "Grandfathered" plan and I have to upgrade to Magenta but then I'll lose all my buy1-get1 line promo and other promos...damn T-Mo !!!
