Yes, after the Costco associate takes out the phone, grab it and run out the store with it. If you are fast enough, this will work...

Most of the questions asked here are either in the promotion posting, or are just stupid. Read before posting.

The document tells you which items will be accepted for trade. You can NOT do a IP6, or SE, or Samsung, etc.

It really does not matter how much they give you for the trade. The total rebate you will get will total $580.

Yes, this promotion is for people adding T-Mobile new lines. Duh! Think!

Simple math tells you that trading in an XS or XR is probably not going to make sense in most cases. So, if then don't. Duh!

Nobody has asked yet, but yes the phone must be paid for. And yes it must work. And yes it must not be broken. Duh!

And yes, you must have a Costco card to pay for the phone.

How much does ___ cost at Costco? Easy - go to the website. Prices are listed.
iPhone 8 through Apple gets you $220
iPhone XS through Apple gets you $500

iPhone 8 through this Costco deal gets you $580
iPhone XS through this Costco deal gets you $580

first 3 lines, $120
$20/line up to 8 lines in total
so, $220 for 8 lines.
then $30/line from 9th line
First line is $70,
$50 for 2nd,
then $20 each up to 8,
$30 each for 9-12.

Did you call them? How do you know, I was told the Everett store had stock.
I was there at Avon yesterday, the manager called all stores around and found none.

No, it's in big bolded red letters on the wiki.

Been scrolling through several pages of this deal, and seems like people are getting 4 iPhones and combining with some BYOD? Can anyone explain how to maximize the deal? Not really in need of 3 or 4 iPhones, but won't pass up a good deal. I currently have 3 lines on T-Mobile One. Thanks in advance!

I went to Costco today. 11, pro and promax all eligible. But my local costco doesn't have any pro. And all 11 and promax are 64G.

Costco has been terrible with stock on iPhone for T-Mobile and I am not surprise at all they are out of stock on most popular models. We had the same problem when iPhone 11 came out last month.

Need some input from the experts:

1. When mailing in the trade-in phones, are accessories such as charger/cable/headphones needed? Did not see any instruction on the shipping label.

2. Also, is there a way to avoid opening the new phones? We have 3 6s that we do not use, so traded-in all of them, but want to keep one unopened as a gift. Since the sim is already in the phone, would it be possible to get another sim and port the number in the phone to the new sim?

Thanks !

The rep could have messed up, got into same issue. Called up Tmobile promotions and they were unable to send the return labels so I had to call member wireless and they did paper work once again and sent me the RMA and RETURN labels
Do you have contact number to call member wireless , I had the exact same issue where Costco rep messed it up and didn't put the trade in device properly , as I can't see the trade in details in my online account

With one of the previous t mobile rebate deals, I put the sim card on another device and they rejected the rebate card since the evaluation team figured the line was not active on the device they sold. Apparently that's one of the conditions along with "keep the account in good standing" and some others.
Since this deal is with Costco, that might not be the case but I wouldn't risk it.
When extrapolating from a different situation and you're guessing that it applies to the one in question, SAY SO.

Otherwise you just spread confusion when you contradict other folks direct experience.

FWIW last year I did the $750 trade in promo at Costco. Swapped SIMs to new phone and set new line SIM on my desk. I received my rebate in full and in the expected timeframe.

Not at Costco. The whole point of doing this at Costco is so you're not stuck with T-Mobile for the 24 months. If you have no problem doing that, just go directly through T-Mobile, heard people saying to just do it through T-Force on Twitter to get some fees waived.

1. Phone only
2. Tell the rep not to open thec box, sim is already activated. You can move the line to esim that will void the sim in the phone. After 40 days, you may or may not be able to unlock the new phone since it is not in any of your active lines, not sure this would become a problem.
