Most of the questions asked here are either in the promotion posting, or are just stupid. Read before posting.
The document tells you which items will be accepted for trade. You can NOT do a IP6, or SE, or Samsung, etc.
It really does not matter how much they give you for the trade. The total rebate you will get will total $580.
Yes, this promotion is for people adding T-Mobile new lines. Duh! Think!
Simple math tells you that trading in an XS or XR is probably not going to make sense in most cases. So, if then don't. Duh!
Nobody has asked yet, but yes the phone must be paid for. And yes it must work. And yes it must not be broken. Duh!
And yes, you must have a Costco card to pay for the phone.

This 3rd line free itself may not be a big deal. But if you have created two lines for two iPhone 11s already, I think you are still qualified to get 3rd line free, correct me if I am wrong.
In a second thought, I guess I may be wrong, otherwise, too good to be true: the 3rd-line-free motivation is to encourage you to create two new lines (with high cost). However, if you have taken advantage of the two lines already (with low cost), I don't think they will give you further incentive. My guess is that you have to add three lines together (without costco promotions) and, then and only then, you will get the 3rd line free. Am I over-concerned there?

If you will switch, it may not be a good deal but if you will stay, it is a good one. The only downside is you can not cancel ANY line. In other words, you are permanently bound. To jump future promotions, you often have to cancel lines and move them elsewhere.

From my understanding, the $580 should be per trade in, so if I buy 2 iphone 11s, trade in 2 phones, I should get 2 $580 rebates - assuming I submit for it twice each time providing a picture of the imei of each respective iphone.

That being said, I don't know if the name of the Costco card holder and the T-Mobile account holder has to be the same. I doubt it.
