Most of the questions asked here are either in the promotion posting, or are just stupid. Read before posting.
The document tells you which items will be accepted for trade. You can NOT do a IP6, or SE, or Samsung, etc.
It really does not matter how much they give you for the trade. The total rebate you will get will total $580.
Yes, this promotion is for people adding T-Mobile new lines. Duh! Think!
Simple math tells you that trading in an XS or XR is probably not going to make sense in most cases. So, if then don't. Duh!
Nobody has asked yet, but yes the phone must be paid for. And yes it must work. And yes it must not be broken. Duh!
And yes, you must have a Costco card to pay for the phone.
How much does ___ cost at Costco? Easy - go to the website. Prices are listed.

I also think some may be confused with Costco return policy - within 90 days, and how long they need to keep account. There were no T's&C's that I've seen anywhere on this promo that day you need the account open so many days or they try and claw back the prepaid card.
I don't think reps are trained well on promos at all. I think they make stuff up as it comes up to them. There doesn't seem to be any formal training/guidance on these promos for most reps. This thread is wild with false rumors from reps. Mine wouldn't let me sign up for Essentials plan because said it wasn't valid - even though promo materials clearly indicate it - turns out as he went back in it was because of a mistake he made. Personally not concerned about it - just evidence they are human too.
Thanks
48 hours later. Be patient.
Assurant has the final say if they accept it or not. None of us really knows how stringent they are when inspecting the phones.

Line -> 7
Went in and added 8th line without any issue, in-and-out bought a promax 64 gb for $999 in about 30 minutes. Rep said I could add another 3 lines with my plan but I didn't try. I may try to add another line when my total wireless 6s comes in next week.
I signed up for this directly from t-mobile because costco near me don't have more than 64GB phones. They told me that I could add a line and then after 3 months can cancel that line, still my monthly credit will continue. Is that true?
'If you cancel your line before receiving 24 bill credits, credits stop and remaining balance at full price is due; if canceling your account, you can contact us first to instead make discounted monthly balance payments.'
You qualify for rebate on purchase of any iPhone (except 8/8+).
