The document tells you which items will be accepted for trade. You can NOT do a IP6, or SE, or Samsung, etc.
It really does not matter how much they give you for the trade. The total rebate you will get will total $580.
Yes, this promotion is for people adding T-Mobile new lines. Duh! Think!
Simple math tells you that trading in an XS or XR is probably not going to make sense in most cases. So, if then don't. Duh!
Nobody has asked yet, but yes the phone must be paid for. And yes it must work. And yes it must not be broken. Duh!
And yes, you must have a Costco card to pay for the phone.

The question I have is I already submitted the rebate online and send the 2 iphone 6S out. If I change the plan to get the 3rd line free (paying $120/month), will it affect my rebates that I've submitted for the two phones above? Anyone has any insight? THanks.
Yes, it only for 2 lines. I want to add another phone 11 so have to move on the regular magenta plan. That's the reason I ask if any problem when switching plan.
As to supplying IMEI number - you are looking for trouble. I think that could be a very important tracking and process number. But - I do not KNOW.
1. iPhone 6s: people may have a used phone or can buy it cheaply say below $100. $140 is the expensive side. Let's say the fair price should be $100
2. iPhone 11: the Coscto price is 630, 10% off the MSRP
3. 3month Magenta: I would suggest to port in your current number so you don't double pay two phone lines. Say, if your current price is $30, then your net pay for 3 month is 3*($70-$30)=$120
So, the new number should be:
$630 + $100 + $120 -$580= $270.
Make sense? Don't rush to jump simply because it is a deal for others. If you don't have a trade in or you can't port in, it may not be a deal for you.

I ended up getting a iPhone 11 64gb last night and traded in a iphone 6s.
Here's some key takeaways:
- during the process, i had to supply the imei of the iphone 6s, CSR only cared that it looked "good", not cracked and turned on
- Iphone 11 price was $630 (so 10% off MSRP)
- I was told that I will be getting the $580 in two chunks. $31 as a bill credit, then the remainder will be mailed to me as a prepaid visa card (not sure if that's standard)
- Finally, CSR gave me the prepaid shipping label for the return, but declined to send the old iphone 6s out for me (not sure if that's standard either)
All in all, everything went smoothly - thanks everyone who's contributed information to the thread - it's been very helpful!I'm not sure what is so difficult for folks here to understand. This is the exact same wording as the deal from last year on Xs as well.
