I added a new line yesterday at Costco and the associate told me it won't be a Master card gift card, just monthly bill credits for the next 24 months. Do I have an option to choose between a gc and bill credit? I was going to pay off the phone bill ASAP.
You messed up if you didn't walk out with the phone on the spot.
If the rep ordered a phone for you, you are stuck with bill credits.
The phone had to be in stock in order for you to get the $580 offer

Sounds like you ordered a not-in-stock phone. That's how it works. Welcome to T-Mobile for the next two years.

You have to buy an in-stock phone paying for it up-front in order to get in on the lump-sum giftcard.

Thanks. I ended up been confused with some wording about porting a number ie: You should only fill the form when your port to TMO is done as they will send you text messages about the process. The reason Why I got stucked is that I had to sign up into my account first to access the form, not sure why. thx again
Yeah I agree with that point... why should we login into the T-Mo a/c I am not sure...!!!
This is kinda stupid !
I am adding a line to my friend's a/c so not I have to ask HIM to login into his a/c and then submit MY rebate application...very stupid I say!
It should be a simple application process WITHOUT forcing you to login into your T-Mo a/c so that we can track it based on the tracking# WITHOUT requesting our friend to login into HIS a/c and keep checking...!!!
But hey, T-Mo is kinda stupid, what can we say? LOL

I went back to check the status if they received my phone or not. The promotion date range is showing 11/1/2019 - 11/18/2019. Does that mean the promotion has been extended.. See the attached

whats the best way to use my old number on my new phone? my old line has no esim and i dont want to physically change the sim cards as that might void the rebate. they are on different accounts, if that makes a difference.
Go ahead and swap the sim.. it will not void your rebate.. I have done it many times and at times in front of the costco guy... never had any issues with the rebate.

But it clearly states, "To receive this offer, you must buy a new...... and use the device on your new line of t-mobile service"

Important question:

What are the IMEI numbers listed on the following - is it for old iphone 6s or new phone purchased

1. Figure 2 (promo terms given by costco rep) - i assume this for the the iphone 6s being traded in, but what is the phone number here - is it for the new line activated?
2. Figure 8 (trade in receipt) - both customer copy and receipt asks for IMEI - I assume it is for the old iphone 6s

Lot of things going on, just want to make sure the costco rep does not mess it up. Thanks
