Yes, after the Costco associate takes out the phone, grab it and run out the store with it. If you are fast enough, this will work...

Most of the questions asked here are either in the promotion posting, or are just stupid. Read before posting.

The document tells you which items will be accepted for trade. You can NOT do a IP6, or SE, or Samsung, etc.

It really does not matter how much they give you for the trade. The total rebate you will get will total $580.

Yes, this promotion is for people adding T-Mobile new lines. Duh! Think!

Simple math tells you that trading in an XS or XR is probably not going to make sense in most cases. So, if then don't. Duh!

Nobody has asked yet, but yes the phone must be paid for. And yes it must work. And yes it must not be broken. Duh!

And yes, you must have a Costco card to pay for the phone.

How much does ___ cost at Costco? Easy - go to the website. Prices are listed.
iPhone 8 through Apple gets you $220
iPhone XS through Apple gets you $500

iPhone 8 through this Costco deal gets you $580
iPhone XS through this Costco deal gets you $580

It's technically a new promo starting today, correct? If so, is there any change to the plans they allow for the upgrade? I have SimpleChoice 10GB (with unlimited lines) and the plan last week didn't allow to upgrade and keep this plan. Thanks.
ooohhhh, i like the way you think. if it is a "NEW" promo, I could add four more lines, but i don't think they will consider it a new promo unless the promo code is different.

My store has only XR in stock, Does anyone know what is the price of XR and does it eligible for $580 if trade in my 6S plus?

FYI for anyone in the Portland OR area, the airport location has the red iPhone 11 64gb in addition to black and white. I snagged one earlier!

I just got 2 iphones for my family today. Do I need to start the iPhone to trigger the 40 day timer for an unlock request? I prefer to just leave it wrapped until the gift day.

Simple in Apple, they valued my iPhone 6s for $100 Apple GC ( vs miserably $36 at Costco, https://www.apple.com/shop/trade-in). Your iPhone 7/7 Plus should be $150/$200. You don't have to claim them in perfect condition to get that evaluation. Besides, I know people can see at even better price at Craiglist. So, just use Apple price, unless you say they are very poorly maintained,

"Iphone 6s plus, Iphone 7, Iphone 7 plus(2)"=100+150+200*2=$650

Feed back this number to your calculation, each iPhone 11 net cost change from 279 (=$1116.5/4) to $441(=($1116.5+650)/4). Nobody call it a bad deal, considering you get alose to half price and there is one Pro Max, but just make the math correct and not get false joy.
I am confused why people are concerned with the value on their old iphone. Why not make it simpler. Just think of the cost on upgrading your very old 6s to the latest iphone 11. For my case, it is no brainer upgrading my 6s to 11 for just $109 excl tax. Simple math.

Iphone 11 - $629
2 mo service - $60
Rebate - $580
Total cost - $109 excl tax.

I don't have to spend $699 to upgrade to 11.

I am pretty sure whether you use your phone or not, as long as you pay your monthly bills for 40 days, you will be able to unlock.

Try Boost. Someone on SD helped me find this deal..

iPhone 6s for 25$. But you need to get the 50$ plan and a 25$ activation fee. Total comes out to ~ 112$ with taxes for a brand new iPhone 6s. You also have to port-in a number.

PS: You can get one off of ebay. I actually bought 3 ATT numbers. Used only 1 for my use. I have 2 and willing to sell each for 3$ Amazon GC. Let me know if anyone's interested
Am actually thinking of doing this ...i called up nearby boost store for a pre-owned iphone and he told me i could get a 6s for $ 25 if i switch ..Boost website does list this offer.
Do we legally own this device and can legally trade in for costco offer ?

Did you actually trade in a boost phone for this offier ?
I was kinda curious to know how did it show up for cust rep when he entered the IMEI for boost phone on his device.
If anybody else can pitch in based on same experience , that can also help !

I got 2 iphone 11 from Costco under this offer but i did not receive any Shipping label shown in Fig 8 and 5. Any suggestions how can i get that Assurant Paper ?
I had the same issue, my trade-in wasn't initiated by the rep at Costco. You'll have to go back and have them initiate the trade-in. Then you'll get the label for your trade-in printed out.

I've been keeping tabs on the stock at my Costco. I wanted 4 lines/phones, and they had no 11s and a decent amount of XRs. We have 3 6S's in the family and everyone has wanted an upgrade, so this is a great deal for us.I also bought one of the TracFone phones that came in great shape- still with 7 months of warranty left.

Yesterday on the phone KioskGirl reported they were down to their last 4 XRs, 3 128GB and 1 64GB. Uncertain as to whether the deal would be extended, and if they would even get any 11s restocked, I went right over.

KioskGirl was great but their ordering system sucked, so we had to input the information for each trade-in four times because the system kept crashing. She also had a hard time finding the right way to enter the Magenta plan for 4 phones. She didn't ask to see the trade-in phones, and I handed her a sheet of paper with IMEI, color and storage for each. Interestingly, I got a $31 credit for two trade-ins and 0 for the other two.

When I bought the phones I was happy to see the XR 128s rang up at $579, instead of the $599 I expected.

3 hours later I left with 4 phones and all of the documents listed in the Wiki.

I would have liked to have gotten 11s but this is probably an even better deal with the XRs, especially at the price.

Thanks to OP and all that contributed, and to those of you that asked the same question for more than the first time, please read at least the Wiki and use the search function. Mom can't make your sandwiches forever.

Right. They only need the phone itself. Do remember to cut out the "Receipt" and put it into the box and secure the phone well so it won't be phyically damaged in its way.
many thanks

I am very interested at getting this confirmed. is it based on your personal experience or just what you think should work? please advice. if what you say is true, I wonder even i pop out the sim card and use it on different phone, the new iphone can still be unlocked after 40 days without connecting to network?
