The document tells you which items will be accepted for trade. You can NOT do a IP6, or SE, or Samsung, etc.
It really does not matter how much they give you for the trade. The total rebate you will get will total $580.
Yes, this promotion is for people adding T-Mobile new lines. Duh! Think!
Simple math tells you that trading in an XS or XR is probably not going to make sense in most cases. So, if then don't. Duh!
Nobody has asked yet, but yes the phone must be paid for. And yes it must work. And yes it must not be broken. Duh!
And yes, you must have a Costco card to pay for the phone.

I asked if it was possible to unlock if the device was paid off or used the sim card in another phone for 40 days, but she was telling me the IMEI on the phone you are trying to unlock has to be in service for 40 days in their end for them to unlock.
My advice to you is if you wanted to wait til Xmas, maybe don't use the phone until xmas, pop in that sim for 40 days after then unlock since you have to keep your tmobile contract for 3 months, I guess the time frame would work.

I was kinda curious to know how did it show up for cust rep when he entered the IMEI for boost phone on his device.

And yes, I traded in the New Boost iPhone 6s. The 25$ deal is not for a pre-owned. It is for a brand new iPhone 6s. I got it from Boost, went straight to Costco to do the deal. When they enter IMEI and select boost as a carrier, system performs a check and tells them if it's valid or not. That's all they look for really

One more thing , did Boost sales rep made you recharge with a plan or gave an airtime card or something for later use and any activation charges etc. What was the total like ?
