2. How to Redeem Your Offer

The document tells you which items will be accepted for trade. You can NOT do a IP6, or SE, or Samsung, etc.
It really does not matter how much they give you for the trade. The total rebate you will get will total $580.
Yes, this promotion is for people adding T-Mobile new lines. Duh! Think!
Simple math tells you that trading in an XS or XR is probably not going to make sense in most cases. So, if then don't. Duh!
Nobody has asked yet, but yes the phone must be paid for. And yes it must work. And yes it must not be broken. Duh!
And yes, you must have a Costco card to pay for the phone.

Your part of the trade-in requires you to be logged into your personal online T-Mobile account.
If you don't mind the rep getting your user name and password to log into it, you can certainly ask them if they'll do it for you, but that's basically a public computer and that's on you.
But then how are the T-Mo store reps allowed to do that? If they are allowed to submit the rebate on our behalf (without knowing our a/c user/password) then the same should be allowed by the Costco reps as well, just to make the process smoother !!
