Yes, after the Costco associate takes out the phone, grab it and run out the store with it. If you are fast enough, this will work...

Most of the questions asked here are either in the promotion posting, or are just stupid. Read before posting.

The document tells you which items will be accepted for trade. You can NOT do a IP6, or SE, or Samsung, etc.

It really does not matter how much they give you for the trade. The total rebate you will get will total $580.

Yes, this promotion is for people adding T-Mobile new lines. Duh! Think!

Simple math tells you that trading in an XS or XR is probably not going to make sense in most cases. So, if then don't. Duh!

Nobody has asked yet, but yes the phone must be paid for. And yes it must work. And yes it must not be broken. Duh!

And yes, you must have a Costco card to pay for the phone.

How much does ___ cost at Costco? Easy - go to the website. Prices are listed.
iPhone 8 through Apple gets you $220
iPhone XS through Apple gets you $500

iPhone 8 through this Costco deal gets you $580
iPhone XS through this Costco deal gets you $580

If people stop getting this deal, we would have a better bf. Because tmobile cannot have to certain subscribe numbers, they would definitely have good black friday promotions!

I had the same issue, the Costco lady entered 6s Plus instead of just 6s so the "fair trade in value" came up as $50 instead of $31.
When I talked to the Assurant folks, they said "not a big deal" since the IMEI is correct, they will assess the phone anyway and send me the new offer to accept.
But to save the processing delay later on, I still went to Costco and got it corrected, they gave me a new paper with new shipping label and RMA receipts !!!
hi

do you have assurant phone number?

Just bought this.

Do I need to use the new lines/sim cards at all?
I was planning on using the new phone on my current line/phone number, and throw the new sim card away. Then wait 90 days and cancel it.

It wouldn't affect the rebate requirements, would it?
I have asked the same question to the costco rep, he mentioned that is what the tmobile is trying to avoid and he also said that i can cancel after 6 months which I don't believe its true.I feel the rep doesn't have proper knowledge and saying whatever he thinks is right. He screwed up printing the shipping label first and had to go the next day after speaking to tmobile rep. I think others can chime in.

Quick question:
Under how to redeem offer, point 6 says:
6. Upload an image of your device box IMEI

I am assuming it talks about the box of device I bought (iPhone 11) and not the box of decive I am trading in (iPhone 6s onwards)

Any data point on Tmobile unlock policy? Do I need to put the sim card in the new phone for 40 days to get it unlocked? Or I can use the new phone for other sim card, like mint? Thanks.

Does this mean new COSTCO members can get the offer? I had seen in the SAMS Club thread they were not allowing new members to activate.

Also seems phone is out of stock at most locations Frown Not a surprise. Has anyone tried to put an order in to take later delivery and still get the promotion?

I have a iphone 6s 16gb used. Has a hairline crack on the top of the screen. Very light.
Just wanted to know from other experiences if this is ok for a trade-in?
