The document tells you which items will be accepted for trade. You can NOT do a IP6, or SE, or Samsung, etc.
It really does not matter how much they give you for the trade. The total rebate you will get will total $580.
Yes, this promotion is for people adding T-Mobile new lines. Duh! Think!
Simple math tells you that trading in an XS or XR is probably not going to make sense in most cases. So, if then don't. Duh!
Nobody has asked yet, but yes the phone must be paid for. And yes it must work. And yes it must not be broken. Duh!
And yes, you must have a Costco card to pay for the phone.

Look for my post a few back today and read it. (post #2949) Most likely they are waiting for you to accept a new offer of trade-in value.
Tried calling and they applied a $36 credit immediately. I suspect that is not going to trigger the trade-in credit though.
EDIT: just called 877-311-8853 and they claimed that they emailed me an exception but I can't find that email. Anyway, like you it was a downgrade from $36 to $31 and I verbally gave the OK which will allow the trade-in credit to go through which will in turn allow the Costco rebate to process. Woo hoo.
I did 5 of those for xr's and they all required new lines

The wiki said the trade-in phone should be paid off.
My att iphone 6s stil has not been paid off yet. I will keep the att line anyway because it is still under the monthly credit. Coscto customer checked it and didn't say anything wrong. Should I paid it off before shipping to trade in?
Whether you keep the line with AT&T is irrelevant.

I added a new line on 11/09 and then sent me a $70 bill for bill cycle 11/09-11/11.
The chat guys aren't helpful. They say that my billing cycle and the charges are correct.
Anybody else who has received a full bill of $70 on Magneta with an autopay for billing cycle which is less than 30 days?
