I think most that ordered got it to work Friday and maybe early Saturday morning before DELL probably disabled it from stacking with the discounted price of the monitor.

Yeah it sucks. I chatted with 2 different reps and they weren't able to do anything either.

Question. Is this still a good deal even without the 10% promo code discount?

I'm definitely not a HaRdCoRe gamer, and any improvement going sub 4/5ms is negligible and a non-factor for me. Guessing I'm not the target audience for this? Just found it odd that this has gotten mega hype comment wise, as it seems somewhat luke-warm and normal/non-special pricing in my mind?

Not trying to thread crap, just really curious is all, as I'm in the market to join the *Ultrawide Master Race*.

Very solid monitor but the lack of HDR is a huge let down. After experiencing HDR 1000 when gaming HOLY crap you can never go back. It was like the first time seeing the difference between 480p and 1080p...it's a MASSIVE difference. All you gamers really really deserve to experience gaming in HDR 1000 so please try to see if you can game on such a display before pulling the trigger on a non HDR model in 2019/2020. I'm shocked that it's almost 2020 and they released this with no HDR. However, if this is all you can afford, it's a very very solid monitor for this price.
