So if you deduct $20 or $30 for the small one the price is about the same, but that still doesn't change the fact that I had three of them and they only lasted a few years. Once the third one broke I bought a stainless steel trash can with a foot pedal to open it.

I got one from Costco for $49. They replaced the top/ hood but it broke again after 3 months.

Yeah, I bought the first one from Costco. Next two I bought from Amazon. I took the first one back to Costco and got a refund, but at the time they weren't selling them.
