Check out their website. affinity.serif.com for all kinds of free tutorial videos. This is a full featured editor comparable to photoshop, but it isn't photoshop. It is also a one time purchase rather than subscription. Keep in mind that the desktop (macOS) version is another purchase though. I feel like the bad reviews come from two camps. The folks that are absolute full on photoshop users that can't help but compare everything to photoshop and the amateurs that don't have the skill to use such a robust tool. Look at the videos and decide if $10 is worth trying it.

Yes the Air 2 was released in 2014. The 2017 is referring to the iPad not the Air 2.
