Always need to consider the transfer fee for balances transfers, and should be included in this post.

"There is a balance transfer fee of either $5 or 3% of the amount of each transfer, whichever is greater."
EDIT FROM MAY 2021-- THIS POST IS TWO YEARS OLD. THE CARD IT MENTIONS IS NO LONGER AVAILABLE TO BE OPENED.

PLEASE STOP REPLYING TO A TWO YEAR OLD POST WONDERING WHY YOU CAN NOT FIND THIS SPECIFIC CARD/DEAL ANYMORE.

Chase Slate is only 15 months but 0% balance transfer fee.

The slate itself sucks as a card to actually use for anything other than the BT, but if you're mainly concerned about the BT, and the 3 extra months won't kill you, it saves you 3% of however much you're transferring over this... plus once you're done with the BT you can product change it into a genuinely useful card like a Freedom or something.
After years of being on airline miles cards I switched to this card. I am very happy with it. Airline miles are worth an average of 1.3 cents per dollar spent these days. This card is worth 2 cents per dollar to me as a shopper. It takes VERY little effort to redeem the 2% cash back. I enjoy the value and simplicity of this card. I find the citi web site and mobile app to be stronger than alternative bank sites and apps. I don't have the time or desire to manage multiple cards.

I applied for this card and now it has been more than 3weeks and haven't heard anything from them.. strange

You might want to check with Citi.
I got instant approval, although I'm a current card holder.
Offer is still valid.

i automatically reject any transfer balance offer that contains a fee. it would have to be something like 60 months to get me to pay more than 2%.

I get more returns on this card than my Chase Freedom on average. For me , their Virtual Card is the biggest selling point.

Do they have virtual credit card creation per merchant feature available still?

I've had this card for many years. Love it. App and site are great. Fraud detection great. Rewards are great. Ability to generate virtual cards is amazing. This is my favorite card I've ever had and they've paid me thousands to use it.

There is way to avoid transfer fee - it comes with 0% apr on purchase form18 months. So you have to make all daily purchases with this card and set aside the money you have for your monthly expenses to pay your other cards with high interest.

That's the plan for me.

I cancelled this card, after they took away all their travel and price protections last month. They also push their new banking service heavily, so you'll get pop-up ads constantly, and a never-ending stream of junk mail pushing their savings account and sending you 'convenience' checks. There's also a minimum redemption for cash back, $25.

I switched to a 1.5% BECU cash back credit card, so I get their decent interest for savings and checking, and the convenience of paying off the card from the same banking app or website, as well as usual credit card protection that Citi eliminated. No spam, no ads, no huge multinational bank that was heavily involved in the subprime mortgage meltdown and received billions in bailout money.
Why not keep this card and use it on all purchases where the protections are not necessary? You are losing money. Doesn't make sense to me. I pay my children's college tuition with this card and it pays off big time compared to your scenario. Also how often do you use the protections anyway?

As an Army guy- I hate having a "Navy Federal" account Wink lol but it really has been far superior than USAA. They screwed me when they slashed my limit 85%. I was at the Apple Store wondering why I kept getting rejected. Called and they said system generated actions and can't be changed.

I use my Chase Amazon as without even trying, I notice I have hundreds in credit. That's usually my "fun" money for a wish list item.

There really should be no reason debit cards are used, you get 0 benefits.

Does this offer virtual card? I've been hunting for one that offers it after BofA cancelled the feature.
I used virtual cards everywhere I wanted to limit expiry dates or do a one-time purchase.

How do y'all redeem the cash back for this card? Converting to thank you points and buying GC isn't any different from getting statement credit since there is no added bonus to the gift card purchase, like Discover have. Also sometimes they have deals on a few gift cards but none are very appealing.

You can redeem/request your cash reward only once you have accumulated $50 worth. You can have it direct deposited to a bank account or they can send you a check. There is no option to have it credited to your credit card account.
