Always need to consider the transfer fee for balances transfers, and should be included in this post.

"There is a balance transfer fee of either $5 or 3% of the amount of each transfer, whichever is greater."
EDIT FROM MAY 2021-- THIS POST IS TWO YEARS OLD. THE CARD IT MENTIONS IS NO LONGER AVAILABLE TO BE OPENED.

PLEASE STOP REPLYING TO A TWO YEAR OLD POST WONDERING WHY YOU CAN NOT FIND THIS SPECIFIC CARD/DEAL ANYMORE.

Chase Slate is only 15 months but 0% balance transfer fee.

The slate itself sucks as a card to actually use for anything other than the BT, but if you're mainly concerned about the BT, and the 3 extra months won't kill you, it saves you 3% of however much you're transferring over this... plus once you're done with the BT you can product change it into a genuinely useful card like a Freedom or something.
After years of being on airline miles cards I switched to this card. I am very happy with it. Airline miles are worth an average of 1.3 cents per dollar spent these days. This card is worth 2 cents per dollar to me as a shopper. It takes VERY little effort to redeem the 2% cash back. I enjoy the value and simplicity of this card. I find the citi web site and mobile app to be stronger than alternative bank sites and apps. I don't have the time or desire to manage multiple cards.

I have both IHG mastercards and AMEX blue cash preferred as my paid cards. The free hotel nights cover IHG's fee and 6% cb on groceries and streaming services cover the AMEX fee. My everyday cards are discover IT for the rotating 5%, Capital One Savor for restaurants and Citi DC for everything else. I do have a few others but those are my primary/main ones. Though, I never use the IHG cards, I only have those for the perks.

Yep, same. Barclay, Slate and currently at the end of a BoA promo, that's why I'm looking for a new one. I found out that Slate is still available at the branch, I had to schedule an appointment with someone to get it done.
May I ask what is the slate offer at the branch?

Also what other cards do you know of that are offering 10-18 months 0% BT/Cash advance?

Was just looking for a card that I can make a major purchase on (or xfer the balance to) that had longest 0% APR, best cashback (good to have), and other perks

This citi card is on my short list

Discover it (3% fee on xfers, 0% apr for 14 months xfers and purchases, dollar for dollar annual rewards match, good rewards program)

US BANK visa platinum has 20 months 0% APR

Citi diamond preferred 18 months 0% apr on purchases and xfers
Thanks Galen, appreciate your write-up, gave you reps. I was looking for these longer 0% apr, it looks like everyone is charging min 3% BT fee that's how they can atleast make money.

BTW - Citi card sent my folks an offer, flexi loan where it's use your full credit limit and take a loan out at 6.95% up to 60 months (not bad if you have something high interest card)

Citi is now allowing people to deposit the Balance Transfer directly into their checking account. At least on my two accounts.

Except them you tend to reload the card again with debt. Slippery slope for sure.

Chase is far more conservative with their credit lines than Citi. You may get no fee with the Slate, but they might only give you a credit line on $5,000.

Yeah normally I get $20000 credit lines on new cards but Chase slate only gave me 5000 and this was 5 years ago so after my promo ended I transferred to Navy fed 0 for 12 mos and the slate just sits ther bugging me but I'm afraid to close it and decline my credit score haha you got it right though the Slate is a worthless card haven't made me a similar bal transfer offer in 5 yrs now they want 5%

Are there any without a fee and with 0%?

I think capital one allows car loans to be paid like that, almost like a reimbursement, anyone know?

There are a few Credit Unions that will give you zero interest and no fees but for only 6 months. I need $15000 CL and I doubt they would give me that. Not worth applying for me.

BofA is now allowing people to deposit the loan amount directly into their checking account.
