Hi all. Just noticed that Amazon has price matched VUDU's earlier price of $4.99 for the 4K UHD version. Earlier today, only the HD version was $4.99 and the UHD version was more.
Anyways, the VUDU price has ended and Amazon has raised it's HD version back up to $7.99 but the UHD version is still $4.99 (just purchased 5 min ago, I was able to use my no-rush shipping credits).
For those of you who purchased the HD version and haven't watched it yet, you can cancel it up to 24 hours out. You can buy the UHD version first to confirm the $4.99 price and then cancel the HD order.
Reminder to all that Amazon now lists the price with your no-rush shipping credits already applied so if you have >$5 in credits, the movie will show up as $0.00. To make sure of the price before you buy, you can check here:
https://www.amazon.com/s?k=Inters...HD+digital. For me, it was the 2nd item listed when logged in and halfway down the page between Fleabag and The Martian when logged out: "Interstellar (4K UHD), From $3.99 to rent. From $4.99 to buy."
Mods, feel free to merge this with the expired deal but I wanted to point this out to everyone while it's still active and before Amazon raises the price of the UHD version. As everyone said, no MA here. Good luck all!

Here's a good snippet for you:
"Kip Thorne, the science adviser for the film and a theoretical physicist at the California Institute of Technology in Pasadena, already wrote an entire book on it called 'The Science of Interstellar'. A lot of the questions that arise in the movie are explained, and his involvement pushes the movie within the realm of possibility from the fringes of sci-fi, despite its metaphysical elements… but that's a post for another day."

Update: Amazon did took my $2.00 no-rush shipping credit and showed me the price with those credits pre-applied, so I thought I was getting a better discount. Once I got the email from Amazon about said purchase, it showed $4.99-2.00 = 2.99 + $0.19 cent tax so $3.18 total. good deal regardless. Thanks!!

Yup! That's exactly it! When I looked at the pre-purchase price it read as $2.99. Thinking it was an even better deal I purchased it. Received Amazon email receipt and it showed $4.99-2.00= 2.99 + whatever tax. Didn't realize Amazon started doing that.
