You have to click costco warehouse from stores, then scroll through the electronics until it gets to "show all laptops."

The problem may be only a first time customer code as someone else pointed out...idk, I've purchased from Google Express/Shopping before...still go through the trouble of looking for codes...this one popped up and worked.
Do you still get the two year Costco warranty?

Makes me think twice about the functionality and personal use of the laptop.

As is, it's probably already overkill for streaming services but probably lack so much for heavier tasks?

Doesn't have that numeric keypad for those that does input a lot of numbers unless you want to lug an external or wireless keyboard.

trackpad sounds a bit iffy so mouse would probably be used.

Touchscreen would've been nice to somewhat mitigate the trackpad issues but this isn't a touch screen.

Upgrading the laptop might make it a low end "gaming" machine ($ 20-30 RAM + $ 50-100 NVME), ending up to $ 350-410 but wouldn't one be too close to something like the $ 450 HP pavilion gaming with a high watt Ryzen 5 CPU and a dedicated GTX 1050? I'm guessing that GTX 1050 would give you almost 3x fps boost.

There's also the Costco Dell 15 touch screen 1080p, i3, 8GB, 512GB nvme for $ 349 Weaker CPU and GPU but seems more functional out of the box and no need for upgrades. Not sure about the quality of its screen though.

I assume so, you're buying it from Costco. Definitely worth sending a message to them just to be sure!

How's the GPU of this vs Vega 8 on the Ryzen 5 2500U and 3500U?
Should be on par with vega 8, supposedly.

this is an all around machine. and also remember 14" footprint is a huge deal for many. especially those who bring their laptops around regularly. Like myself i dont even look at 15"+ bigger laptops. There are always more deals on 15" laptops with better specs but thats why because 14" is like a luxury being more compact.

streaming services not using 4K is overkill for laptops from several years ago.

you mention several things going back and forth akes it seem like you prob would be better off with a DESKTOP not a laptop. , but then confuse me looking for a touchscreen.

that HP pavilion laptop you reference I believe is a 15.4" going back to what I said that 14" is always more costly and many avoid anything bigger.

its rare to find a deal that fits everything you ask especially if smaller than 15" is a priority. 14" with high end cpu, touhscreren, dedicated graphics 1080p 8gb etc? not for $280

remember this is $280, 14" laptop 1080p and i5-10th gen with ssd, backlit ketboard and expandable 4GB ram. its as out of the box ready for the AVERAGE user.. actually more than an average user would need.

lurkers prob get scared of all the "power users" in threads like this when people start going off on ram upgrades etc because they think it isnt enough. im a power user myself but for everyday tasks 4GB is fine. My in laws have last years HP laptop of this and never bothered to add more ram from the 4GB and its fine.

Ah, now I see it. Thx. Yes, it's only for first time orders on your google account. Signed in with a different google account and the $20 coupon worked, but for some reason the tax it's charging is nearly twice as much as when I go through Costco's website without a coupon. Might just drive over to my local Costco to check it out.
