Now this is a phenomenal deal!
Hopefully Ashford offers all colors at this price.
Nothing phenomenal about it. After Glycine brand was purchased by Invicta[ablogtowatch.com], there is no more value in owning Glycines. This is a good looking watch with ETA 2824 movement, but it's worth as much as comparable Invicta. And yes, some Invicta model have the 2824 movement in them as well.
You are much better off buying Eterna, Tissot or the like.

Quality of these Glycines are much higher then a similar priced Invicta regardless of who owns the brand now. You get quite a bit of watch for $320ish in these.

Please read my comment carefully. I am not disputing the quality although that too is sacrificed for the mass market price. What I really said is that the value of owning Glycine went down after the watch is being purchased by Invicta.

.....and there is absolutely no logical reason for it because they are separate brands, which is how you can separate watch appreciation from brand snobbery.
You can spend $1200 on a Hamilton or $3000 on an Omega...you're selling them both in 5 years for half of what you paid. Nothing is appreciating that's mass-produced today unless you're talking about watches that cost more than the average U.S. home.
Heck you're better off buying Micro Brands if investment is your game, the ones with Seiko movements inside, they're far more likely to go OOS and actually appreciate in value due to production numbers.
The Glycine Combat Sub, Combat 6 and Airmen styles are some of the most unique and attractive bargains in the sub $500 Swiss watch market. Usually less than 10 or 11mm thick with date complications with sapphire crystal. No shame in owning a well-made and attractive Swiss watch.
For that matter, if you like Invictas, no shame in owning them either. Your wrist should not be a popularity contest.
