This is the cheapest price so far THAT INCLUDES THE FREE GAMES BUNDLE. If you don't care about the free game bundle then it's been slightly cheaper on eBay via Newegg.

Walmart link: Now $327.99

Don't forget Discover 5% cash back on walmart.com + I found 2% cash back on the deal

AMAZON has price matched if you prefer them:

Don't forget Discover 5% cash back, Amazon prime cards (Chase/Amex) 5% cashback.

I was waiting for Black Friday, not sure now..
I ordered a batch of hard drives from Amazon a few years back (4 x 6TB, which were expensive at the time) and the box looked like UPS had run a competition to take turns running the box over with their trucks. It just looked so beat up and torn up that I refused to open up each hard drive and test them for hours and hours. Instead I just sent them back. As soon as I sent them back Amazon sent me a nasty gram stating that they'd ban me if I continued that behavior (?!?!?). I tried calling them but they just kept reading a script and never helped me.

Confused

Now if I think I could possibly have to return something for any reason I go to Walmart or Target (the price is the same, Amazon is usually price matching them anyway).
I bought it at Walmart bc they have zero hassles with returns (I got a nasty gram from Amazon a few years back for returns). It was also 2% cheaper at Walmart bc of the cashback I'm getting from Mr. R. I won't open this processor box until AFTER BF but essentially I'm "locking in " the lower price.

Amazon also has 5% with Discover. I wonder if it's worth upgrading from my 2700x? I'm really happy with it but I'd be curious how my pc would run with a 3700x.

That sounds like a smart idea. I haven't had any issues with Amazon returns(only done it like 2 times) so I think I might order from Amazon now and just leave it sealed until BF like you.

This may help. 3700x is a little faster and it does run cooler. It also has better memory performance. If your system is running fine though it may not be worth the hassle.

Interesting.. I've heard some stuff about Amazon banning people if they continually return stuff, but I am sure they screw up on who is and isn't abusing the system.

It's like a 15% benchmark gain, equating like 8% real world gain. Only you can deem if it's worth it. I am happy with my 2700x that I bought for $200 a few months ago
