My first post, and this is pretty much a follow-up to this because there doesn't appear to be many folks responding/seeing the thread.
UPDATE (11/11/2019): The ad has been updated to more clearly articulate what I've been saying all along. Between the updated ad and this thread, it can't get much clearer. This is a pretty slick deal.
ORIGINAL POST:
I've confirmed with a VZW rep that this deal is actually as good as it sounds. Straight up, the price of the phones are (minus taxes and other applicable fees):
$17.92/month ($430.08 total) - S10
$22.09/month ($530.16 total) - S10+
$26.25/month ($630 total) - Note 10+
No gimmicks, trade ins, new lines, Unlimited plan, monthly credits etc. Simply agree to pay the monthly dollar amount (above) on any VZW service plan and the phone is yours.
It has been confirmed with a number of VZW reps that there is NO pre-pay penalty (i.e. forfeiture of future monthly promo credits) with this deal because the discount is applied instantly up-front. So you could pay this phone off early if you wanted. I personally am going to wait 60 days before paying our phones off. A deal like this seems so rare that I want Verizon and their affiliates to feel incentivized to do it again. If this deal sells a bunch of phones but provides no real increase or sustainment in wireless plans, I suspect they'll opt to continue with the traditional trade-in, new line, Unlimited promos they've been pushing all year.

How sure are you about no need to upgrade/new line and what not?
I'm as certain as someone outside of VZW can be and I certainly wouldn't make a new thread like this unless I had a high-level of certainty of its contents.
I'm on the fence between this andthe Target deal, but I just don't shop at Target enough to really want $800 worth of Target gift cards.

It sounds like you need to first set up the monthly payments, but there's no penalty for paying it off completely (early) BECAUSE there is no monthly promo credit! It's straight up the dollar amounts referenced above.
Just walk up to the kiosk and ask for the deal. The kiosk reps should be familiar with it by November 22nd.
