These knives are surprisingly awesome for how cheap they are. I have a bunch of them that i leave in the garage and my truck and some other places.

We have a bunch also, kind of funky, but very functional. The carbon steel ones can take scary sharp edges.

The stainless steel on these rusts quite easily compared to other knife stainless steels.
Some water seeps into the grip where the tang is and rust spreads out from there.
I like the blade geometry and the handle; if only they had used a more rust-resistant stainless.

This is a good deal on a generally useful knife, buy it if you're interested in trying one out.

In case you're wondering -
"Morakniv Pro S is the Basic 546 but with an optimized handle made of TPE rubber."

The main thing to look for on these knives is
- the blade thickness - some of the others are too thick IMO, this one is good
- the blade length

Also -
" the spine will be 'raw' (not grinded) on most craftsmen and construction knives. Therefore, it's not compatible with a fire starter. "

Thanks for posting this was wondering what the difference was between this one and the ones usually posted of the same brand.
