just email the dev about it. i had a v4 key that 'just expired' (1-4 weeks) when they released v5 -- he gave me a v5 key upgrade if I remember correctly.

I setup the software, but seems the default is only capturing a second or two after motion is detected for alerts. I set a detection area on my street that is the whole street from left to right blocked off in the video frame, so not sure how to make each alert pre-capture the preceding 2 seconds or so, so that I can review the complete motion in the frame if a car enters the frame on either side of my street.

This is under the record menu in camera settings. Options and select the Pre-trigger video buffer and enter the time. Works great.

Switched to Zoneminder a while back so I wouldn't have to run Windows just for Blue Iris (and since they wanted money to update).

Also using a Google Coral for object detection and the ZmNinja app on my phone (free and open source, or $5 if you want it compiled and on Google Play).
