Is there any talk of a new Osmo Action? I was leaning toward getting that instead of the Hero7 Black but now there is a Hero8 so I'm curious if DJI will have an answer
If not, is there any reason to get the Osmo instead of the Hero8 (ignoring price)?
I bought the mavic mini but finding its just not what I need and need to go back to a 1" sensor. I'm wondering if retailers will also offer this price.

Can you tell what's wrong with it? I'm just thinking about buying min or first pro model

From watching test footage in online reviews my take on it is that the quality of video is an overall small step down but in a lot of areas. Big one for me is exposure range doesn't look as wide so you get a lot of blown out shots as well as under exposed shots more often than you would on the Pros. With smaller sensor the entire image is just a bit blurrier and also a bit over-corrected with the camera's post-process sharpening, it really shows when looking at moving complex details like tree foliage.
Outside of that there's relatively less fine tune controls available, and automated pan/circle/follow-esque features seem to command more of the interface.
So in short if you've never flown a pro and are just experimenting the mini is still an awesome start, but if you have a pro, or have general video/film experience, or just have specific requirements in mind you might more notice its relative shortfalls.
Been wanting to get a mavic 2 pro, wondering if retailers like best buy will match as I have points there.
Best Buy will be matching this price for Black Friday. I expect a lot of other retailers will match as well since DJI is temporarily lowering the price.
sure bby will match the price for the 5 or so units they'll have in stock at the store. don't forget about $140 in sales tax. LOL
ok i'm not hating. bby actually did me a solid this month so i s/b grateful to them for shipping my mavic mini combo a full 3 weeks earlier than promised on top of the massive discounts.

Well price would be the main thing. I have the 7 and the Osmo. The 7 came with a drone. I prefer the Osmo because it is quicker to get up and running with the quick shot stuff, but other than that they are very close.

Wish it were, but doesn't seem so.
