I got this at this price. It lasted for 29 days then the charging port on the scooter broke. I went to plug it and it arced and almost electrocuted me. I am not the only person that this happened to. I would go with the Segway or Xaomi in this price range.

Really? wow. I heard the Xiamoi get easy flats or tires pop. So i guess that leaves Segway by your recommendation.

Ya it really happened. You can find other reviews on Amazon with the same thing happened. This scooter also has air filled tires so they can go flat. You can put slime in the Xaomi then and replace with honeycomb style in the future.

Steer clear of GoTrax. Cheap components will break right after their 90 day warranty expires. Hence the 90 day warranty and the option to buy a 1 year warranty.

Put your money elsewhere like Xiaomi or Segway

I've put over 5,000 miles on my GXL (yes, 5,000). Shows no sign of breaking anytime soon. My Segway/Ninebot broke after 300 miles.
