What is the new RCA? I still rock my RCA VHS player. Still haven't upgraded to DVDS. My son red boxes blue rays and he just copies them over to blank VHS tapes for me.

With how cheap DVD players and blank DVDs can be had nowadays this seems like a ton of extra work, but it's awesome your son does that for you.

I haven't ever used Redbox but if DVDs are cheaper to rent than Blu-ray he might want to switch. With the level of compression needed to fit them onto VHS tapes I'd be shocked if there's a noticeable difference in quality.

i watched girl on the third floor via VHS last night and the picture looked flawless.
